Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive has a good visual interface across the board. The menus are clean and feature nice artwork as well. The opening video is great and plays just like the opening from the show. The story is presented in between missions in an animated comic style which was very cool and a nice way to go from mission to mission.
The level designs are interesting despite their diversity you will see a lot of forests, deserts and the like. It's almost as repetitive as the gameplay at times. I like that the character designs embody the look and feel of the show and they did a great job recreating our favorite jutsu attacks. I really loved seeing Sai's drawing techniques creatures jumping off his scrolls. It's a really cool effect.

Geared towards resolutely combat, this new episode of Naruto features a single player mode as well as 4 player multiplayer! Naruto. The ramen-loving, bloody-haired ninja who has a tendency to get into trouble is back in an entirely new show although this time it's more mature. This of course means that there will be no shortage of video games based on the Nine-Tailed Young Man with one of the most famous catch phrases in history, including the newly released Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive for PSP.

I'm no stranger to the show, either, although I'll admit I'm terrible with character names and especially those outside of the main character's clan. I also love this new old version of Naruto as the character is already well established. Kizuna Drive is just as much better than the previous version although it has a few short offerings. I will address it later.

Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive features an original story rather than borrowing from the show. In this 3D action game, Naruto and his friends must find out who is responsible for the kidnapping of many of their clan's ninjas. At the same time, they must stay one step ahead of a different clan blaming Naruto for the attack on their village.
Players can experience this new story in the Scenario Mission part of this show as they work their way though level after level to fight enemies, avoid traps, and overcome the scattered bosses inside. Unlike previous titles, Kizuna Drive offers a team-based atmosphere that has been evident from the start. Instead of fighting alone like Naruto, you will have at least 3 other ninjas to help you fight.
There are times when you won't be in control of it but other ninjas control it instead. The only downside is that once I got used to Naruto's attack techniques it was hard to play like everyone else. But this is done for a reason as each character has their own strengths within their specific role, such as support or attack. For example, Naruto is an attack class while pink-haired Sakura is a recovery type. Each character has their own special abilities such as the strength of the Nine-Tailed Naruto.

Your opponents are attacked simply by just using the circle button, but to use advanced skills like Team Assist or Team Attack, you can use the triangle button or both if needed. Just like in the demo, you have to build a characta to perform a more advanced attack. Some use your chakra faster than others, so you often have to find a safe place to recharge when you can or cannot perform any special abilities.

The only problem I actually had with Kizuna Drive is that it is somewhat difficult to monitor your opponents due to the noticeable lack of the lock feature. This makes landing strikes or special attacks a nightmare sometimes. There is a manual camera control that helps you with tracking.
